I love this place more and more by the day. Besides the awesome, knowledgeable coaching and staff, there’s something about knowing I can bring my 17-month-old with me to a WOD (when I need to). Just knowing that while I’m doing a 400M run with a 25lb plate over my head, my fellow athletes are happily stepping in to entertain my kid. Y’all are all awesome. Thank you!
This place has been a total game-changer for me. CrossFit tends to attract athletes – people for whom sports and exercise have long been a part of their lives. Not so for me. I was always the last picked in gym and the last to finish the mile in high school. Not too much changed in the decade after that. I joined CrossFit this past November and I can’t believe how much stronger and more capable I have become. From day one, the trainers at CF Hoboken were so encouraging and supportive. On top of that, they really pay attention to you and know their stuff. The gym is nice and big, and there’s plenty of equipment, so it rarely feels over-crowed, like a lot of other places. All-in-all, I highly recommend CrossFit in general, and this gym in particular, for anyone who wants to up the ante for their overall fitness level, health, and well-being.
I’ve been looking for a way to pick up my fitness regime for a while, but have always been intimidated by stories of people who have tried CrossFit and failed. I couldn’t be happier I took the plunge and tried the free class. All the coaches are extremely supportive and make learning a new set of exercises fun and easy. They put a huge focus on safety and form, and there’s no pressure to do more than you’re comfortable.
I seriously used to laugh at people that talked about CrossFit all the time, but I’m a full-blown convert.
My favorite part of this place is that it’s the complete antithesis of gyms like Planet Fitness where people sit on the machines and scroll on their cell phones. You’re in and out in 45 mins to an hour and you have a workout that makes you feel good all day.
I’m a normal dude BTW, I’m not a gym rat.
